Overview

Teachers and group leaders with participants age 16-29: make theatregoing a part of your class or group’s experience! Build YATI performances into your curriculum and schedule.

Enrollment

You can encourage your participants to enroll individually, or you can contact us to provide information to enroll everyone as a group.

Performances

YATI selects a series of at least six and as many as twelve plays with appeal for young adults from local theaters’ seasons each year. Plays might include a world premiere that a theater has developed with a local or national playwright, a classic like Romeo & Juliet, or a recent New York hit, all featuring characters and stories that speak authentically to young adults. Spring 2026 plays to be announced soon! Tickets are free for members at the designated performances, or can be reserved in advance for $10.

Events

YATI will work with you and the participating theaters to create special events for your group, potentially including opportunities to meet the artists, specially scheduled student matinee performances, pre- or post-show receptions, and more.

Help us spread the word

We would love to conduct a survey or hold a focus group with your participants to help us develop strategies and best practices for inspiring young adults to attend live theatre.
